What a party we had at the after hours zoo party for members. The zoo and aquarium are combined in the same membership for $112 per family per year. Needless to say it pays for itself many times over for us.
Keep an eye out for; Zack the jaguar (hiding), Ellie and her dancing leaf, Addie and her monkey perch, Jacob and his spanish moss, out of this world safari ride , carousel of wonder (I could only get Zack pictures, everyone else is hidden), the glass snake which is actually a legless lizard, Ellie's new pet Tortoise, and the super awesome train ride with pina colada icees! Oooheee, what fun :)
Oh yeah, Ellie and the elephant dung was especially pleasing to the elephant educator/caretakers (don't worry it was baked and coated with about a thousand coats of shellac, I am lax, but not that lax!!) and she thought it was pretty funny as well, just look at that smile. She is our animal lover, for sure.
