What is Sam's favorite thing to talk about when it comes to Hirschsprung's Disease? (before you go to this trivia contest make sure you can say it, and know what it is, so you don't say,
"HUH!?" and make yourself look like a fool that should not be at said trivia contest)
And the answer is: "What kind of word is that? It has 7 consonants in a row. How do you do that?"
My rebuttal: "Have you seen my maiden name, and do you know anything about the Welsh language? I think it's much stranger to throw a 'G' in front of something and call it a word.
And now you know - quite possibly more than you wanted to - about us :)
Stalkers
I received a comment from someone I don't know that follows our blog. This person was worried I would think it strange and possibly be unnerved by that. I could have been for sure, but it was a very nice comment and care was taken to explain how we came to be 'followed'.
Let me give my two cents about this: nope not bothered at all, love, love, love the fact that there are so many people we don't 'know' willing to be with us on this journey. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we couldn't do this without all the love and support we are getting from all of you, 'known' or not. And that's more than two cents, but hey it's my blog.
Another bit about knowing. I may not have seen you, or be able to say in the traditional mortal sense that I know you BUT; I believe that we all know each other spiritually. My husband and I 'knew' each other way before we met each other in a worldly way. So before you count yourself as a scary stalker and don't allow yourself to throw encouragement and love our way, consider this; would you want it if you were in our shoes?
Besides, I have comment moderation turned on so if I don't like what you say, I don't post it. Kind of like being able to make up my own spelling and words :) And another besides; I believe in people, and goodness, and kindness, and hope, and love, and mostly I believe in sharing all for the greater good. (except any nasty comments that may come our way, I don't believe in sharing those ;) )

there is a family that used to live in our ward but moved to Texas. I think you should read their blog, it's Kim & Leslie under my blog list. They have been through the ups and downs of the medical world with their sweet 3 year old little boy and I think you could relate a lot to their story.
on another note Mason said in his prayer tonight "please bless baby Malachi so he can poop" :)
