I am quiet and sneaky
This smile will tell
You can not yell
This used to sum up bedtime with this little stinker pretty well. Even after hour plus long battles of in and out of her crib with us marching her back in, we'd find her just around the corner quietly listening to us talk, or siting upstairs quietly dismantling the bookshelf on the landing. She'd be so tired she could hardly sit up straight and if you caught her blinking, well it was anyone's guess which blink would be the one that did her in. Eventually it all paid off and now she just needs a stern, "Addie, look at mommy." "What", head flips around and eyes are glued to mine. "Stay in your bed, okay." "Okay" in the most subservient way a two year old could ever say, and then, peace and quiet.
The cutout pj feet and socks? My ingenious way of getting to the next size hand me downs from Ellie, after Addie started saying, "Stuck, stuck!" while pointing to her feet in the pjs :)
