Another fantastic feature of this house is the 'bubble window' so named by Jacob. There are any number of wild things the kids can watch perched comfortably there. I love when someone will yell the name of one of the animals that frequents the yard and they all come running from wherever they are scrambling to get up and watch whatever it is. This is the life. We are so grateful to have been given this wonderful respite after such tumultuous times for the past couple of years. I could truly be content to never leave. If only I could get my groceries delivered and find music teachers that would come to the house ... hmmm.

So what is everyone looking at? The yard and house look awesome by the way! I was picturing like a very old house, fixer-upper, but everything I see looks really great! I am so glad you guys found this place and that things are going so well for you!
I think that night was a woodchuck. The house is very old but was redone in the 80's and has been very well maintained. Aside from obvious cosmetic things (flower borders in the laundry room, etc.) it is perfect. I can definitely live with cosmetics :) It is a great house especially with the new carpet throughout and new paint on the main floor. Our landlord's are wonderful too which makes all the difference!
