The local Jewish Community Center has a summer camp facility a bit north that is out of this world! This was the children's second year (Addie's first) attending and they love it. I forgot to get a picture before the bus and most of the other families left. I don't know who's crazier, the counselors or the kids! They do such a great job and it's apparent that their interest in the children is genuine.
Spending all day long moving from: archery, geocaching, swimming (in the pond and pool), many different sports, crafts, a gigantic rock climbing wall and zip line, and much more, can't possibly be a bad way to spend a week of summer. Perhaps the best was gaga. What's gaga you ask? You'll have to ask the children. I don't have the clearance to divulge such secrets.
My favorite part is thoroughly enjoying the time they are gone. Knowing they are having a blast and their lives are being enriched fills my mommy well. I shall not lie, it is great to have a homeschool mommy break. It's also great to get them back.
Can't wait for next year!
