The Most Beautiful Thing I Have Ever Seen

I am standing at my kitchen sink, gazing out the window upon the most glorious of sights. Actual real life license plates from the great state of AK perched upon Sam's car. Jacob and I put them on for a surprise when Daddy gets home tomorrow from inspections abroad. We are anxious to see how long it takes him to notice as the car has become a really expensive lawn ornament and is actively ignored so as to avoid thinking of all the garbage that went along with trying to get it licensed and registered. Ahh license plates, a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Indeed some may think this a mockery or exaggeration of some sort. Oh no, definitely not. After 160 mile commutes, no vehicle for myself and the children, more gas $$$ than I care to calculate, super early mornings, so many torturous hours in the van (we did listen to some good audio books though) and feeling like nothing was ever going to get done. It's done. It's done, it's done, it's done!!!! Welcome to the family little white Toyota Corolla, we LOVE you and your new license plates, and your mpg!

Oh and one more thing. The game was awesome! And we did not get $50 in concession coupons/vouchers, we got $50 per person in concession coupons and vouchers. And the seats were painted in camo. And Sam's name was up in lights for long enough that we could be unaware, notice, scream and celebrate, show the boys what we were celebrating about, scream some more with them, and then realize that I could take a picture of it all, fumble for the camera, get a picture, and still have a few more seconds of seeing those beautiful lights. And, and, and. It was so wonderful.

I will post pictures, someday. I priced a new charger the other day and let's just say that I'll be finding the old one. So any of you are welcome to come unpack and repack boxes and set up my school closet for me. It will be well worth the pictures you'll get, I promise! Make sure you call first to check on available times as I am sure appointments will be booked up very quickly.
