So, tonight at dinner Jacob nonchalantly says to me, "Mom this is how you splash spaghetti on your face. You get a long noodle and put it in your mouth and then slurp it in crazy." I laugh of course and tell Sam, he was busy listening to Addie scream for more food, and then urgently, as if he missed the most important part, he says, "Oh, but it has to be a saucey one, a really saucey one."
Everything is a competition here, come on we have two boys, so Zack demonstrated the fastest slurp ever, the super slurp. His noodle was not saucey enough though so he didn't win and unfortunately he slurped so fast we couldn't capture it on film, light speed I think it was. Anyway, Jacob decided this can still go a little further and says, "Wait Mom I can get really splashed." I am pretty sure the picture will explain itself. He was very serious about technique and needed to make sure I captured it correctly on film. I hope I did your splashing justice buddy.
They are writing mystery novels before bed tonight, maybe the villain will be a spaghetti splasher??? We shall see. Nope, just checked we have a secret mystery safari and a monkey named Ellie. Two different stories and no spaghetti splashers. There is always the next story.
Happy eating. Hope your dinners are as eventful as ours!

you're such a good mom to let them splash their spaghetti! i don't think i'm ready for claire to do that just yet.
Cute pictures! We've had plenty of spaghetti spashing here too, although my girls just call it slurping. They get really mad when I cut up the spaghetti before I serve it, but usually I just don't want to clean up the big mess.
