Yum Yum Yummy!! Monday night, for Family Home Evening, we went to this awesome organic blueberry farm in Covington, blueharvestfarms.com. Our good friends, the Miller family, and Zack's friend, Dallin, came with and it was a deliciously good time had by all. If you are wondering how to keep a 1 year old entertained for an hour and a half of blueberry picking, look closely at the pictures :o) We knew it was time to move her when she would start screaming in protest of bare branches. She was happy and boy have her diapers been fun the past couple days! Zack was very diligent in his tasting efforts, but only for the good of the harvest ;) He and Dallin had buckets full in no time and worked on seconds; Mirabella was a flirtatious distraction :o) Jacob was equally as diligent at tasting but after 1/2 an hour and about 30 berries in his bucket he became Sam's permanent apprentice. Ellie was more interested in playing with Mei and Mirabella, but did manage to pick a good half bucket or so. Abrahm was silly as usual and started quite the laughing sillyfest. It was great, and we now have enough blueberries to fill our; muffins, pancakes/waffles, smoothies, bellies, and anything else we think of, for the year to come, yay!

I realized I have two of the same picture of Addie, woops. I don't know how to delete just one picture so it's there until someone helps me out :o)
can you send some my way??? no blueberrie pickin in Phoenix!
I love the pictures of Addie eating from the bushes! We may just have to do a little picking of our own!
Do go! It is such a fun experience. I love the picture of you and Claire - when is her little brother going to be on the way :o)
You guys have such adventures! Blueberries, time travel, cannibalism (which I admit would disturb me too - maybe a FHE on not eating people?). You have such a fun family!
What does it say about your mothering abilities when you have to give a Family Home Evening lesson on not eating people? I hope Child Services doesn't phish blogs!! It was just so strange that they even thought about it. It's not like I read bedtime stories about it, perplexing.
