Delicious

And I am not talking about the food, although it was too. You are delicious Grandma and Grandpa, truly delicious.
Okay, I admittedly have a problem. Is it really possible to choose fewer pictures? Not for me. So here are the highlights, or rather, the everylights, of our fabulous visit with Grandma and Grandpa Fisher.

Playing Apples to Apples Kids with G&G before leaving for the airport

A bit (a lot) of early Christmas from two generous Grandparents
Putting it all together was most of the fun :)
Love those Jakey hugs and thank yous

A tad bit excited to see the K'nex car roller coaster actually in their own
house instead of sitting at Costco
We have ourselves some beautiful princesses with some fancy new threads
Can a girl really ever have enough fancy dress-ups? Nope.
There is Grandpa and then there is Grandpa on spaghetti sauce fumes. 'Nuff said.
Thank you for the yummy sauce that we are still enjoying and mostly for the
memories that came with it. MOLTO BENE! (I am positive I butchered that,
but hey, I am not Italian!)
What an amazing sight to end our hike and tower climb at Kettle Moraine State Park
Chillin' on the couch watching a movie after a great day of hiking. After our hike we stopped by a cheese factory near our home. We were disappointed the store was closed, Grandma and Grandpa just might have sprung for some yummy fresh ice cream. BUT as we were driving away I thought I saw something in the large viewing windows. Sam turned around and we stood outside watching them make enormous batches of cheese. What a treat!
The top of the viewing tower
It was a nice hike to the tower and then plenty of stairs once we got there. We enjoyed being outside and were so glad the weather was so mild for their visit.
On top of the world with Grandpa
Is there anything better than being lassoed by your Grandpa? Maybe being pushed in the tire swing your Dad made for you. Nope, Grandpa always wins.
Grandpa made lots, and lots, and lots of paper airplanes.
The girls are learning early how to run Rug Doctor
Grandpa is learning early just how heavy little girls can be :)
Cook Tom Turkey, Cook!
A little beauty time with Grandma

What happens when you are being naughty at bedtime and you have finally crossed the lenience threshold associated with Grandma and Grandpa's arrival? You get put on time-out. What happens when you sing adorable songs and do all sorts of funny things while you are time-out? Grandma cons your Mom into letting you sit on her lap and cuddle. Truthfully, Grandma is very respectful of parental boundaries, she just has these big puppy dog eyes, and well you see how that works out for her.
Is there anything better than undivided attention?
Hide and Go Seek. Ellie made a list of things that needed to happen while G&G were here. She even called to tell Grandma her jobs; color with me, dance with me, play dress-ups, have a tea party, and play hide and go seek. Addie and Grandma were 'it' first, as you can see. The funniest part is that G&G got here in the evening and Ellie was quickly running through the list to make sure everything got done that night. The elation was hard to contain when they all realized in actuality what we had been promising them for weeks; G&G will be here for 5 whole days! 5 whole glorious days indeed. We love you G&G Fisher and can't wait for you to come back :)
