So you may notice the new picture under 'our family' of all the kids. I took one a while back and Zack was having a contrary moment so it wasn't complete. I have been meaning to get another one since that day, key word 'meaning'.
Well I decided yesterday was the day. Sam had been gone all week and had just woken up from his recovery nap; he flew redeye, arriving home at 11:00 a.m. after, two flights, long layovers, and an hour drive. Anyway, He was reading a book all cozy with the kids ... and I chime in for everyone to "quick come in the school room fast!"
After several attempts and nowhere near even half way perfect ;) Sam decides to get behind me and do fun silly Dad stuff to get them all looking in the my direction and smiling. What a guy! If only the story ended there ... On the last attempt to get them all in sync he jumped up from behind me and wind-milled his arms around coming smack down on the corner of the filing cabinet, and hard. Long story short, he ended up in the ER with a manly gash.
He is home safe and sound and nicely stapled together now. Way to take one for the team honey :) It's all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out ;) Maybe I'll leave the family photos up to the professionals from now on!
I'll spare you the picture of his wrist/hand, not because I am nice, but because I can't get the camera to focus well enough on it.

Too bad about Sam's arm. At least you got some cute pictures out of it!
Haha, that will be a family picture your kids aren't likely to forget (my sympathies to sam though).
Jeremy broke his toe once doing some crazy jump and dance move. He was trying to get the kids to laugh. I am sad to say but I still crack up when I think about it. What dads wont do for a laugh! Hope all goes ok with your evacuation! Good Luck!
