Sam and I decided to tackle painting the stairwell last saturday. I think we were secretly hoping to never have to actually paint the spindles, but alas, no elves showed up :o). The kids decided to take apart the boys bedroom and rearrange it with their huge 'structure building blocks'; some people know these as mattresses and box springs! I can't complain, they kept themselves entertained all day long and had many cool games and structures to show for it. To our dismay, I did not think to capture it on camera until the end of the day and only got their last structure, but one is better than none I suppose :o) My favorite was when they had them all stacked on top of each other and were playing 'The Princess and the Pea'. We are still not quite sure how the boys were able to lift and move all four pieces across the room and stack them so high. I guess they are considerably stronger than either of us guessed! A close second is when they barricaded the door and kept calling for the dragon (aka Sam) to come storm the castle and try to break in. They were able to come up with one that kept him out that was quite impressive. The Eiffel tower was awesome as well. I guess saying I had a favorite isn't quite accurate , hee hee :o)

What a fun day of building! The kids look like they are having a great time. :o)
What ingenuity, it is so heartwarming to actually get pictures of these beautiful children.
Loving my grandkids,
Grandma
Where did you get four kids?!?! Wow, I've been pretty out of the loop. Thank goodness for blogs! Thanks for your email. I'm always glad to be able to catch up with people. Your family is totally adorable!!
Time does fly doesn't it! Funny things is I am supposed to be "infertile". I suppose one never knows what is in store. Obviously for us there was more in our store than we thought. What blessings :o)
