We love the library and every time we go I can expect total quiet and calm in my house for a good several hours while the kids pour over all the books. (this last trip we ended up with 37!) The kids regularly put on a circus for anyone willing to watch so Jacob was naturally drawn to this book. I believe what he said was, "Look Mom this great book will teach me how to be a real clown!" So we get it and all is well. Until ... Sunday morning as I am heading down the stairs ready to feed the kids breakfast and walk out the door to church I am met by two of the most beautifully decorated clowns ever! That would be Zack and Jake, yes they had just about every color marker (from our pack of 25) on just about every part of their body. From lips and eyes to feet and hands they were covered. Needless to say we were a bit late for church and I could have been more calm about the situation (hence the forgetting to take a picture, sorry). I quickly realized the humor and we had a great laugh. later jacob said to me, "Mom you tell us to learn from books for home school. I did great learning to be a clown didn't I?" And that my friends and fellow mothers is why you should take every precaution at the Library! :o)
