Sometimes your brain just needs a break.
It's extra special when it works out that friends can heed an impromptu invitation for an hour or so of fun. Unfortunately, I didn't get the ultimate sledding train picture because my battery died. Silly battery. Just picture it 14 children from 4-13 years old, a mass of sleds, and everyone holding on for dear life. I can't think of a better way to use some energy and enjoy the new snow!
I am so grateful we have the flexibility to enjoy time together when it works for Malachi. He is (really they all are) so good at be grateful for the simple things and the little moments whenever they happen to come. Beautiful example.
