Vernal Pond/Raging River

The children absolutely love, and take full advantage of, each magical transformation our yard sees. Depending on the weather we see a wide range of micro-climates and habitats. The creatures are endless, there have been so many frogs caught that I can't keep count anymore! Many an adventurer can be found traversing the vast expanse in all its wonder :) Ah, to be a kid again.

Milo loves spooking voles out of their safe little homes and watching them swim across the widest part of the pond. He lets them enjoy the chase for a good long time and then has a snack.
