A date with just mom was his only birthday wish/request. It was such a pleasure.
Not one that enjoys making choices, but one who relishes in options, I let him order meals and cheesecakes for both of us so he could sample as much as possible :)
His self-designed dark chocolate fudge cake with cream cheese frosting and topped with ripe juicy strawberries was quite a treat! Photobombing brother could not be outsmarted ;)
This had to be his favorite part of the day. And the next day. And the day after that. It took a while to finish but sans a few bites for sharing amongst those with chocolatey taste buds, he licked the platter clean.
