Hide and Seek

For some reason I am reminiscing the good old days of summer today. That is odd for me because I'd much rather need a jacket than be at the water park. There is something pretty great about the joy in these faces though.

I suppose that's a lot of what life as a mother is all about; finding the joy and choosing to see it. I am finding that happiness is a choice. A choice sometimes not easily made. There are many factors to consider when dealing with people's perceptions, ways of thinking, being, acting, and interacting.

Joy, peace, contentment, and all such fun words can be elusive at times. Good thing we learn how to play while we are young. It seems there's nothing a good game of peekaboo or hide and seek can't cure. What is it about the find that makes things so exciting? Life's great mystery unlocked; seek and ye shall find.

Children often offer some of the best examples of finding joy in the simple and basic activities and pleasures of life.

What are you seeking?
