Swimming in the bayou, potluck picnic, baby pools, water fights, fishing off the dock, homemade fishing poles, feeding mamma duck and her 24, yes 24 ducklings (anybody know what the correct term for teenage duck is?), BUG SPRAY, friends, staying up "all night long", a firework show off the dock over the bayou (when they pointed them the correct direction anyway!), and finally capturing, at least in part, Addie's cheeser grin. We had a great time and only wish we could have seen Uncle Justin's float in the big parade down Center St in Provo, Utah!

Looks like sooooooo much fun!!! The one and only thing I hate about Arizona is the 4th of July! No parades, at home fireworks or fun bbqs because it's too hot. Next year we are outta here!!!
Ewwwww. When we first moved to Slidell, we lived in Eden Isles. We would swim in the canal and then decided it would be fun to jump off one of the bridges. That's when I discovered what was swimming around in the canals. I never swam in the canal after that. But it looks like your family had a fun time!
No body parts have fallen off yet :o) They had a blast and while I can't say I'd ever join them I had too much fun watching them to stop it. Maybe they'll twitch a little when they are older, but they'll sure have fond memories to take with them :o)
