Winter in Louisiana ...

Mud fights, water fights, late night kite flying, parades, soccer practice, parks, picnics (with po-boys and hot crawfish), New Years Eve fireworks with no shoes on, canoe adventures, bike/walking paths, and daily trampoline jumping, these are a few of our favorite things :o)  We still can't say we enjoy no snow and we would love to get rid of the fireants and mosquitos - but there is something to say about flowers year round and vitamin D aplenty without a chill.

those dirty kids look like mine :) There are always 2 little puddles in the street in front of our house from the sprinklers that Mallory ALWAYS has to jump in. Now we just strip her down to her diaper before we even go outside so we don't ruin anymore clothes.

What is it with kids and water anyway?! I remember loving it too, the ditches in AZ were my favorite. You can't really see it but they are actually having a mud fight with the little bit they could scrape together from the curb! Each mudball was about the size of a small bouncy ball.
