It Is Done

Today marks the end of a 23 1/2 year career for Sam.

The ceremony was wonderful. The children did a superb job of singing the National Anthem to open the event. Many people sought me out to express their gratitude and share their respect and admiration for Sam.

So many thoughts. Not quite ready for publication.

A wonderful end and a brave new beginning.

Here's to you Chief Petty Officer Lockhart, Retired.

Here's to you 48 year old university student Sam Lockhart.

Here's to us and all that awaits.
