Shameless Plug

Many of you have urged me to write a book. In fact, I don't go a few days without hearing the request. "About what?!" is always my bewildered reply. To which the most perplexing answer is uttered, "What you already write about. I love to read what you write." Humbly I thank you, but am still ultimately confused.

Most of you know that Sam's job goes poof, just like magic, come December 1st. Funny thing, when a job goes poof, so does the money; and the benefits. For those of you that think we take good care of our veterans, I say talk to real families instead of listening to the talking heads. Anyhoo.

We have a plan. It's a good plan, but it involves Sam going back to school (he's already started) and 2 years of incredible financial insecurity for our family. Here's where you come in. If you like what I write and have a few minutes to spare in your day then head on over to my "motherhood blog" and check it out (also note the conspicuous link at the top right of the blog). If you think its super fabulous, or even horribly obtuse, tell your friends. The more visitors the merrier, even if said visitors are highly critical and rip my thoughts to shreds. I can handle it.

I am always open to suggestions for topics of interest, and in general. The more exposure I get the better, so thanks in advance for checking me out and telling your friends and enemies.

And in update news. Coming soon to a theater near you ... Lockhart Looney Bin; in which a crazy woman desperately wishes for things such as magic wands, money falling from the sky, and most of all Nanny McPhee. That about sums it up.

I do promise more than a few lines soon. Thank you for your interest and your patience.

Just in case you didn't catch that. I did warn you this was a shameless plug, didn't I?
