People Watching, an Animal Sport

So I am sitting at the piano in front of the bubble window practicing away like a good piano student. Suddenly, a woodchuck darts across the yard, stops to watch and then slowly enters the wooded area between here and the pear/apple orchard. Seconds later a chipmunk takes the exact same path only atop the two foot fence rather than on the ground and perches itself in a tree above the groundhog. What is so interesting that they have left their cozy protected homes to boldly dash across the wide open space? My children. They are climbing the fruit trees and playing in the orchard. Seriously, the animals are watching my children. I don't know if I should be delighted or frightened.

Part two: Princesses Really Do Need to Kiss Frogs

We have a mama frog and her 10 babies living in the window well just below our kitchen window. They are a favorite pastime as I am sure you can imagine. Ellie is often seen cuddling "her babies" and making sure they are safe. It seems that now she has decided they each need to be kissed before parting. I wonder if there are any princes hiding among them ...
