Mardi Gras was a blast!  My living room is still covered in beads, princesses welcome :o), the rocking chair is home to at least twenty new stuffed animals of all sorts, and other trinkets and useless gadgets are strewn about - oh it's so fun.  We went to three parades this year and had a marvelous King Cake from a real bakery!  It was hot and humid so we got sweaty and sunburned but smiles and fun were theme for the day.  Addie wasn't missing out on any fun either, at the end of the day we were eating dinner and the kids were 'playing' mardi gras yelling,  "throw me somethin' mister" and her hand would shoot up in the air while she eagerly awaited whatever 'throw' they would launch her way.
